The Collaborative Alliance Conference is an annual conference designed to gather the build environment fraternity. In October 2019, the fraternity will come together for an insightful and informative exchange in this year’s inaugural conference.

The theme for the Conference is Future Economy: Towards a more enterprising and pro-business transformation.

The Real Estate Developers’ Association of Singapore (REDAS) and the Singapore Institute of Architects (SIA) were invited by the Board of Architects (BOA) to co-chair the Collaborative Alliance Conference (CAC) Committee and to organise the inaugural conference for the built environment sector. The CAC committee includes five other related government agencies and trade associations, namely BOA, Professional Engineers Board (PEB), Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore (ACES), Institute of Engineers Singapore (IES) and Singapore Contractors Association Ltd (SCAL).

The built environment industry value chain is one of the most extensive eco-systems amongst Singapore’s economic sectors. The sector contributes significantly to the positive transformation of the physical landscape, socio-economic development of the nation, and larger well-being of our community. With the launch of the Industry Transformation Maps come initiatives for deepening partnerships between the private and public sectors. There are also calls for greater integration across the various sectors in the industry, drawing on synergies as well as shift mind-set towards organizing resources, elevating quality of jobs, upskilling, innovation and internationalisation to stay competitive in the future global economy.
