Singapore Mediation Centre’s Services during the COVID-19 ‘Circuit-Breaker’

Dear All,

Last Friday, the Government announced stricter measures to further contain the Covid-19 outbreak in Singapore. SMC’s services will be affected by these measures.

While some of this may cause inconvenience, we seek your understanding as they are necessary steps to ensure your safety and that of our staff.
  • Adjudication under the Security of Payment Act
Services remained unchanged. Parties may continue to file their applications at the SMC counter at 1 Supreme Court Lane, Level 4, Singapore 178879. The counter’s operating hours remain unchanged (9am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday).

  • Mediation
SMC remains open for filing of mediation cases only. This is to be done online. Mediation sessions will not take place until the Government-mandated circuit breaker period is over.

  • Training
No face to face training will be conducted until further notice. Online trainings and seminars will carry on.
Should you visit our counter for services, kindly comply with the safe distancing measures put in place. We also seek your patience, as we seek to fulfil our standard of service with reduced staff numbers. We will continue to keep you updated on changes so please look out for our notices via email and on our social media channels.

Until we meet again, please stay safe and healthy.

If you need more information or have questions on this advisory, please contact us at enquiries@mediation.com.sg or visit our website at www.mediation.com.sg.
