The Singapore Standards Council and the National Environment Agency are jointly organising a seminar to launch the Singapore Standard SS 642 : 2019 Code of Practice for Pneumatic Waste Conveyance System (PWCS).
As part of Singapore’s Smart Nation initiative and Sustainable Blueprint, Pneumatic Waste Conveyance System (PWCS) has become an integral part of waste management in Singapore. The Singapore Standard Code of Practice for PWCS aims to guide the developers, consultants, designers, engineers and architects, Qualified Persons and PWCS service providers in implementing the PWCS. This standard will set the requirements for the design, installation, testing and commissioning and maintenance of PWCS.
