The Singapore Institute of Planners (SIP) is pleased to invite participation in the 7th SIP Planning Awards 2021. Held bi-annually, this prestigious Planning Awards recognise urban planners and consultancy firms in Singapore and beyond for their excellence in urban planning.

For the 7th SIP Planning Award, SIP would like to take this opportunity to reflect on how the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted our economy and daily lives; to deliberate on how planners and allied professionals should deal with the issues relating to our built environment going forward. Other than the planning professionals, we would like to acknowledge the efforts of more allied professionals, both locally and internationally, who are contributing to the creation of a more vibrant planning community in this new normal.
In view of the above, SIP has introduced substantial changes to the award categories. In this 7th edition, SIP would like to honour both projects and people. New categories of award are created to reflect the transformations in the planning professions.
Except for Outstanding Student Project, there will not be differentiated submissions for SIP members and International participants as in the past.
Award winners will be announced in 2021 at the award presentation event to be reviewed at a later date. Summaries of the winning projects will be posted on the SIP website.
