The renowned Italian architect and designer Michele De Lucchi will participate in the Singapore Design Week 2024. Known for his innovative approach to architecture and design, De Lucchi has left an indelible mark on the global design landscape with his work spanning over four decades. Celebrated for his philosophy of blending functionality with artistic expression, De Lucchi’s most notable projects include – among many others – the Bridge of Peace (Tbilisi, 2010), Zero Pavillion (Expo Milano 2015) and Novartis Pavillion (Basel, 2022).
In occasion of his presence in Singapore, the Embassy of Italy has organized talks and workshops in collaboration with some of the most prestigious local institutions in the design field such as the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) and Singapore Furniture Industries Council (SFIC) sharing invaluable insights into his creative process and vision for the future of architecture. Such collaborations aim at exploring innovative approaches to build long-lasting partnerships between Italy and Singapore.
