The unprecedented COVID-19 outbreak has severely impacted economies and societies worldwide. With projects suspended, construction works stopped and cash flow woes, architecture practices are not spared from the economic downturn and disruptions. Moreover, architects are facing unparalleled contractual, legal and operational challenges in their practices and projects. There are numerous concerns due to stop-work orders ranging from the shortage of manpower, delays, claims and working from home.
In the face of these challenges, SIA stands together with its members by providing relief from the uncertainty to brace through this trying time. Through thoughtful and purposeful engagement, the institute has organised a series of lunch time webinars focused on various topical and critical issues confronting members and their firms during this pandemic.
