Synopsis
Design Responsibilities are complex as it intertwines the Architects and Contractors’ roles. This session will consider Clause 3 of SIA Building Contract 2016 – how, when, why and where the Responsibilities start, cross over and finish between the Architect and Contractor; whether the 2016 version expands and/or varies from that of the 9th editions and/or Minor Works Contract 2012; and the legal issues that may arise from the operating of Clause 3.
