REDAS will be holding this year’s WSH Leadership Forum on 25 July 2024 (Thursday) from
9.00am to 2.00pm at Grand Ballroom, Level 1, Parkroyal Collection Marina Bay, 6 Raffles
Boulevard, Singapore 039594.
The Guest-Of-Honour (GOH) will be Mr Zaqy Mohamad, Senior Minister of State for Defence &
Manpower.
Now in its 5th Year, the REDAS WSH Leadership Forum is supported by the Workplace Safety
and Health Council (WSH Council) and Building Construction Authority of Singapore (BCA).
Themed “WSH Regulatory Performance and Compliance”, the forum aims to re-affirm
developers’ collective responsibility to instil and inspire commitment to WSH as a core value at
organisation’s level (from top management to workers).
Workplace safety and health requires constant and vigorous focus in order to meet targets set,
from the initial planning stage through construction to final completion. As the built
environment evolves and technology advances, coupled with shifting workforce demographics
which presents new challenges for the construction industry, it demands a focus on a stronger
rallying-call for commitment to WSH throughout the construction phase.
As a signal of strong industry leadership towards achieving a higher WSH standard for the
betterment of the built environment, we will be inviting various stakeholders to participate in
a “Safety Pledge” to demonstrate your commitment towards embracing good WSH practices
and adopting good procurement practices in WSH. Collaborative leadership is a vital building
block for business sustainability, fostering a trusted environment and delivering positive safety
outcomes for all stakeholders.
