Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG): Adoption of Pre-scoped IT Solutions

Dear Members,

Digitalisation in the construction industry has become even more important as a means to help enterprises transform and improve productivity in the wake of Covid-19 pandemic. 

To encourage firms to digitalise, BCA had launched the Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG) in April this year:

  • to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)1 keen on adopting pre-scoped digital solutions under the Construction and Facilities Management Industry Digital Plan (IDP)2.
  • SMEs can enjoy up to 80% funding support till 31 Dec 2020, subject to a grant cap of $30,000 per firm till Jan 2023.

We are pleased to share with you that these pre-approved digital solutions are now eligible to be co-funded by the Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG) and listed on the GoBusiness Gov Assist.

To tap on the grant, you may request a quotation from the software vendor, before submitting an application for the PSG through the Business Grants Portal (BGP).

Footnotes:

SMEs can apply for PSG if they meet the following criteria:

  • Must be a registered business in Singapore;
  • Have primary and/ or secondary business activity in Construction and Facilities Management sub-sectors according to the Singapore Standard Industrial Classification Code (SSIC);
  • Have at least 30% local shareholding; and annual sales turnover of not more than $100mil or staff strength of not more than 200 employees;
  • Purchase/ subscription of the solution must be use in Singapore;
  • Must not have already signed or confirmed a contract with or made payment to a supplier, vendor or third party in relation to the purchase/ subscription of the solution before the application.

The IDP was jointly developed by BCA and IMDA in partnership with SSG and is part of IMDA’s SMEs Go Digital programme, which is designed to help SMEs in Singapore go digital. For information on other support schemes under BCA’s BuildSG Transformation Fund (BTF), please refer to go.gov.sg/btf.
