The Land Transport Authority (LTA) launched a Request for Proposal (RFP) inviting consultancy firms with expertise in landscape architecture, urban design, public space design, placemaking and active mobility to develop a Master Plan for the surface streets along the North-South Corridor (NSC).
“The launch of this RFP is significant as it signals a first, where mobility and place-making projects are now seen as one integrated effort with the potential to make a positive impact on the neighbourhoods along which the NSC route.
SIA sees this RFP as an excellent opportunity for our local architects and the landscape industry to contribute and hopefully combine forward-looking designs with our understanding of the local culture and flavour.
Thus we would like to encourage #siamembers and SILA members to participate and collaborate with LTA actively through this RFP.” – SIA President Ar. Melvin Tan
