This is a two-stage international architectural design competition launched by the National Heritage Board, Singapore, to invite design proposals for the Founders’ Memorial. The Founders’ Memorial will be an integrated gallery and garden experience to honour the legacy of our founding generation of leaders, strengthen Singaporeans’ sense of solidarity, and inspire future-generations to reflect on the ideals and values upon which our nation is built. It will be sited at Bay East Garden, and be a development with significant civic presence, integrating architectural and landscape design, and be accessible to all visitors.
The Singapore Institute of Architects has been appointed to organise the competition, which will be launched on 10 Jan 2019.
