ITE with SIA is pleased to share the Traineeship & Work-Study Diploma Program by Institute of Technology Education (ITE). that hopes to address this issue.

Under the Traineeship & Work-Study Program, firms are able to recruit and train technical staff who will stay with the firm for at least 3 years and eventually become a part of the team.The trainees will have received one full year of ITE knowledge and skill building before they are hired by the firms as staff. The trainee then carry on with OJT as well as lessons from ITE.

The scheme is heavily funded by government and the firms will receive wage supplements and other money incentives that will bring the wage cost of the trainees down.
