Past years’ projects can only be submitted into new innovation, detail for sustainability and Exhibition Design categories this year. However, the scale of the submission (part of the building) and information must be customised to the intended category.

There is no extension to the submission.

Submission is open from 5 March to 19 March (12pm).

There is no prescribed format / template for the report.

Yes, jurors can submit projects for the award and declare their submission to the other jurors. The juror with an identified conflict of interest shall not participate in the assessment or consideration of entries in the relevant sub-category(ies)

The jury panel will be announced in mid-March.

Please submit this project when the project is fully completed as each project is eligible to be submitted for 1 cycle only.

Collaborations with foreign design consultants are eligible for submission.

Referring to Section 3.7c of the Awards Brief:-

Each participant is duty- and ethics-bound to ensure his/her submission materials are authorised, and there shall be no copyrights or ownership issues with any other party/-ies related to the project/s submitted and the materials contained therein.

Intellectual Property Rights

SIA shall have the right to publish, display, reproduce or otherwise publicise or communicate all submissions submitted, subject to appropriate citation and acknowledgement of the authors. Such right shall be exercisable by SIA without any payment, charge or fee whatsoever to any person.

SIA reserves the right to retain all submissions for the Competition for display after the winning ideas have been announced. SIA will inform all participants in writing to collect those submissions no longer required by SIA within a specified time, after which they would be disposed of.

Enquiries

Entrant may send queries in English by email to SIA Secretariat at ada@sia.org.sg. Such email shall clearly state “SIAADA 2019” as the subject heading. Only upon receipt of an acknowledgement email sent by the SIA Secretariat shall the query be officially registered for a response. Deadline for submission of questions is 1 March 2019.

Responses to all queries will be made known via a posting on Awards Website (www.sia.org.sg/awards/siaada2019) on or before 5 March 2019.
