Apply for design study awards
You are a designer looking to deepen your skills, or to learn business strategies. We invite you to apply for the SkillsFuture Study Award for Design Sector. The objective of offering the award is to give Singaporeans specialist skills that can be used in areas of demand, and for future economic growth.

The SkillsFuture Study Award for Design Sector is for Singaporeans with at least three years of work experience in design; and who are committed to developing and deepening their skills. Successful applicants will receive a monetary award of S$5,000, which can be used to defray out-of-pocket expenses. It can also be used with existing Government course fee subsidies.

Applications close: 14 June 2016

Dear SIA Members


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Annual General Meeting of the Singapore Institute of Architects will be held on March 22, 2016, 7.30pm (dinner will commence at 6.30pm) at SIA Premises, Level 3 Theatrette, 79 Neil Road.


  • To receive and adopt the Minutes of the previous Annual General Meeting
  • To receive and adopt the Report of the Council and reports of the Honorary Secretary and Committees
  • To receive and adopt the Institute’s Annual Balance Sheet and Statement of Accounts for the year ended 31 December 2015
  • To elect the Office Bearers and other members of Council
  • To appoint Kwan Wong Tan & Hong as our External Auditor for the financial year 2016

Any other business not stated in the Preliminary Agenda which any Fellow/Corporate Member wishes to consider or transact at the AGM, should be communicated to the Honorary Secretary in writing and received by him at least fourteen (14) days before the date of the AGM. Such other business shall be properly proposed and seconded by Fellow/Corporate Members who shall not be arrears in payment of subscriptions or any sums due to the Institute.
